Each year, the Mary Kay Ash Foundation awards grants to emergency domestic violence shelters providing innovative and life-saving services to women fleeing for safety. Grants are awarded in the amount of $20,000, with a minimum of one grant awarded per state. Grant recipients are not eligible to apply for back-to-back grant years.
